All positions are direct-hire permanent positions.

Mechanical Staff Engineer

• This position is responsible for assisting Field Engineers / Head of Section in carrying out planning, prioritizing, executing and monitoring of maintenance and project activities in QAFCO's Ammonia and Urea Plants and Utilities.
• The successful candidate shall have to participate in studies, investigations, and improvement projects related to QAFCO’s plants, systems and equipment.
• Experience in development of specifications for the procurement of spares, equipment and services and conducting technical evaluation of bids is a must.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University
• Minimum 5 years proven successful experience in an Ammonia / Urea environment or in a Maintenance organization within the Oil / Gas / Petrochemical Industry is required.
• The candidate shall have the ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English, operate standard PC Applications and have Technical Report Writing Skills.
• Experience in planning software, basic financial skills and handling of projects will be an advantage.
