About the job

Borouge's Maintenance Organization is called "Plant Availability (PA) Function" and responsible for the efficient maintenance and ensure the availability for smooth operations of the plants in Ruwais. It consists of five departments- Maintenance Execution Polyolefins, Maintenance Execution Olefins, Maintenance Execution Infrastructure, Maintenance Strategy and Services. The three first ones are essential to carry out the routine daily maintenance jobs in the plants, while the others are supporting those activities. 
Reporting to the Services Team Leader, you will be part of the maintenance services team and will be responsible for:

• Planning, organizing and coordinating with concerned contractors the day to day activities and ensures that all jobs are prioritized and done as required.
• Ensuring that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the applicable Health & Safety and quality assurance procedures and standards, and ensures that all safety equipment is available.
• Following up/ clears/Raises Safety incident reports as required.
• Supporting field operation and maintenance activities.
• Attending and organizing meetings, as required, with operations and contractors.
• Ensuring all equipment in workshop and valve shop are smooth in operation,
• Preparing preventive maintenance plan for all machine and valve shop, welding and fabrication shop equipments.
• Reviewing and approving the Contractor's maintenance schedule for civil, electrical and HVAC systems related to buildings and facilities in the plant.
• Coordinating and following up the repair of under-ground piping leaks and ensures that the job is carried out as per Company's procedures and safety best practices.  
• Reviewing and approving the time sheets for Contractor's staff and equipment and material purchasing.
• Communicating, coordinating and following up with the Call - Out Contractors for the jobs to be carried out at site and/or off-site at the contractor's facilities.

Minimum Requirements:

As a successful candidate you will have:

• Technical Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum eight (8) years experience in Maintenance field in the oil, gas or petrochemical industry including 3 years in similar position.
• Good knowledge of fabrication - welding, maintenance of valves, machining in the oil, gas or petrochemical industry.
• Proficient in verbal and written English.
• Very good analytical & leadership skills.
• Excellent team player.
• Proficient in the use of computer.
• Knowledge on CMMS like SAP, Maximo, etc.
