As part of our continued expansions, we are in search of qualified and experienced personnel for the following vacancies. The company needs to recruit a number of key positions in its plants located in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. & Headquarter in Abu Dhabi.
Instrumentation & Control PMP Engineer
About the job
The Techncial Group (TG) unit has been established as the Engineering and Technical organisation for Borouge, which is mainly based in Ruwais. TG as the Engineering and Technical Services organisation and has business process ownership of Asset Integrity; Process Safety Management; Inspection; Project Engineering, Delivery (value up to $50 million) and Execution; Technical Authority Governance and Support; and Asset Development. Additionally, TG is the custodian of the Company Technical Standards and Procedures.
You will be part of our Technical Group and your responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring that assigned Plant Modification Projects (PMPs) are executed according to the Company's procedures, specifications and relevant international code & standards.
• Shall be the focal point for all assigned PMP's starting from conceptual design till execution and final close out.
• Providing Instruments/Control engineering input to other disciplines as well as other departments/ Functions.
• Participating in HAZOP studies pertaining to the proposed plant modification projects.
• In close liaison with the Planning Section for getting the projects scheduled for execution and material aspects.
• Accessing Project System Module in SAP (software) to monitor / control PMP cost.
Minimum Requirements:
• Possesses Control, Instrument or Electrical engineering bachelor's degree (12+4 years).
• Eight (8) years of work experience in instrument/ control engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and project management of various scale projects.
• Good working knowledge of relevant international standards and project management.
• Be fluent in English, written and oral.
• PC Literate in MS Windows, Excel, MS Office and project related software.
• Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. Team work within the team /across departments and proactive approach to problem solving.
• Cultural sensitivity.
