Laboratory Technician
for Material and Application Testing
BASIC FUNCTION
The laboratory technician needs to have relevant experience within testing of PP and/or PE for applications as pipe, film and or molded products. It is also necessary to have experience with relevant testing equipment and to work according to international standards and relevant product standards. The contribution to the technical service and the innovation process will be to execute testing, do reporting, calibrate and maintain equipment and to participating in developing new test methods.
The technician needs the theoretical background in polymer chemistry. Additional competences within statistical methods, LIMS and lab quality standards is regarded as an advantage.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Technical degree, preferable BSc, in chemistry, polymer science or related disciplines
- 3 years testing in relevant application.
- PP and PE polymer knowledge. Relevant testing and application standards
- Team player
- Innovative and creative
- Analytical and conceptual thinking
- High focus on safety
